Founding Legacy and Evolution

Our journey traces back to 1944 when the visionary Shri Aziz ul Rahim embarked on the path of speaker manufacturing in the walled city of old Delhi, then known as British Sports Works. With limited resources and boundless determination, he handcrafted speakers, pioneering the art of sound reproduction. In 1965, our industrial presence was established at 81-F, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase-III, New Delhi, marking the inception of Acos Electronics. Here, Mr. Rahim nurtured a skilled workforce and spearheaded the manufacturing of electronic speakers and accessories, laying the foundation for our growth trajectory.

Continuation and Expansion

In 1995, Mr. Rahim’s son, Mr. Ahmed Aziz, joined the traditional business, infusing it with ambitious plans for expansion. Following Mr. Rahim’s demise in December 2002, leadership transitioned to his wife, Mrs. Fatima Begum, until her passing in 2009. Subsequently, Mr. Ahmed Aziz assumed sole proprietorship of the company. In 2004, recognizing the need for expansion, we acquired another industrial plot at 34-A, Functional Industrial Estate for Electronics, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, New Delhi. The construction of this new unit was completed in 2011, ushering in a new era of enhanced production capabilities.

Our new unit has completed all necessary formalities, including TIN/CST, EXCISE, Delhi Pollution Control Committee certification, and Municipal Corporation of Delhi factory license. Moreover, we are registered under GST, TDS, TCS, and hold Udhyog Aadhar registration with MSME, ensuring full compliance with government regulations.

Achievements and Expansion

In the financial year 2011, following the shift to our new unit, ACOS Electronics achieved a substantial turnover, selling fifty thousand speaker units. We doubled our production capacity in the subsequent financial year to one hundred thousand units, marking a significant milestone in our journey. Over the past decade, our company has witnessed steady growth, with both units jointly adding products year after year.
